Day Ten – A Nice Surprise

Hello there! It’s day ten. No spending besides parking for work. But what a happy surprise. My husband just got home from work. He was in the right place at the right time, and he’s a nice guy to clients so he came home with this for me:

Pampered Chef Stoneware: Deep Covered Baker - Cranberry

It’s a $65 piece of cookware – absolutely FREE!! Woo hoo! That just made my day! Now I’m off to work till about midnight.

My wife and I recieved the Deep Covered Cranberry Stoneware as a gift from our daughter- in -law. Monday evening we were having guests for dinner, so placed a roast in the stoneware for oven baking at 350 degrees. When it was done I removed the stoneware from the oven, setting it on top of the stove to remove the roast. I went to reach for the forks to remove the roast and the stoneware shattered, creating quite a mess, and ruining our whole meal. This was only the third time the stoneware had been used.
